Andrea Coletta is an AI researcher based in Rome with a PhD in Computer Science from Sapienza University of Rome. He specializes in AI/ML for finance, with a focus on Generative AI, synthetic data, simulated environments, and AI safety, and aims to illuminate the behavior of economic systems through modeling. In industry, he currently contributes to the Bank of Italy–Eurosystem ART team, and previously led research at JPMorgan Chase on time-series and limit-order-book applications of GANs and diffusion models, publishing eight papers at NeurIPS, ICML, and ICAIF. He also teaches at Luiss Guido Carli University (Contract Professor in Advanced Coding for Data Analytics) and has served as a Teaching Assistant in AI for Trading and autonomous networking courses at Sapienza.
