Raphael Mourad is an Associate Professor (Habilitation) of bioinformatics and biostatistics in Toulouse, specializing in AI for genomics and personalized medicine. He develops large language models for biology and CNN-based approaches to genomics, health, and agronomy, bridging academic research with industry as Head of Clinical AI R&D at Remedy Logic and a freelance AI in medicine consultant. Over his 8-year track record, he has created and led more than 15 R&D projects and mentored researchers and interns, while co-organizing the French ML for Genomics LEGO conference. He teaches data science, machine learning, biostatistics, and genomics at Master/PhD levels, translating theory into practice.
