Phil Alves is a seasoned software product leader and entrepreneur, serving as CEO and Principal Consultant at DevSquad, a boutique, bootstrapped SaaS-focused consultancy of about 90 people. He also founded DevStats, a SaaS for product and engineering leaders to measure what matters, currently in private beta. Over 12 years, he has led the build of 100+ software products for bootstrap founders, VC-backed startups, and enterprises like ADP, Box, and the US ski team. Earlier in his career, he founded Komeia Interativa, a Brazilian MLM SaaS that he built and sold, and served as CTO at mmtoolparts.com. He holds a Business Information Systems degree from LDS Business College and a Computer Information Technology degree from Brigham Young University–Idaho, and is based in Salt Lake City, Utah.
