Bogdan-andrei Iancu is a seasoned telecom software leader and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience, currently CEO of SIPhub and founder/core developer of the OpenSIPS project. He began in VoIP/SIP research at Fraunhofer FOKUS in 2000 and co-founded the SER/OpenSER lineage that evolved into OpenSIPS, now a production-grade SIP server deployed by operators from SMBs to large carriers. As chairman of the OpenSIPS Software Foundation and leader of OpenSIPS Solutions, he bridges open-source community stewardship with commercial product and platform delivery. He runs training and consultancy initiatives such as the OpenSIPS Bootcamp/eBootcamp and is known for translating research prototypes into industrial-grade VoIP platforms. Based in Bucharest with a Master's in Computer Science, he blends hands-on core development with strategic leadership across foundation and commercial ecosystems.
