Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolAare Undo is a Principal Software Engineer based in Tallinn with a decade of hands-on experience across mobile, backend, cloud infrastructure, web frontend and even robotics, blending linguistic training with technical depth. He has led and shipped SDKs and cross-platform mobile products at companies like IDnow and Scanbot while running his own consultancy, Nikitech OÜ, to stay close to practical engineering and client needs. Comfortable switching hats—from Windows SDK and iOS/Android development to GIS, sysadmin work and automation—he thrives in roles that require both leadership and deep coding. Not a fan of corporate posturing and modest about self-promotion, he brings a pragmatic, maker-oriented mindset and a knack for turning odd jobs into robust solutions. Aare’s background in translation and academia gives him an unusual edge in documentation and cross-disciplinary collaboration, and he still claims he can make a mean pizza.
