Summary
🤩
RockstarAaron Batilo is a Principal Engineer based in Denver with 11 years building resilient, cloud-native infrastructure and ML training/serving platforms for companies from startups to hyperscalers. He’s led migrations off legacy EC2 fleets to Kubernetes, created the first H100-scale GPU clusters at Cohere, and played a hands-on role in multi-cloud inference and LLM training infrastructure at several AI companies. Known for turning chaotic, click-operated AWS estates into auditable Terraform-driven platforms, he also introduced distributed tracing and self-service GitOps to improve developer velocity and incident response. Pragmatic and efficiency-minded—his GitHub credo, “if I don’t have to do it, I won’t; if I have to, I’ll do it quickly”—matches a career of automating toil, improving cost structures, and shipping production ML systems at scale.
