Summary
👤
SeniorAaron Mehar is a seasoned infrastructure and reliability engineer turned Senior Sales Engineer with 11 years of hands-on experience designing, operating, and troubleshooting large-scale Linux and cloud environments. He spent nearly eight years building site reliability expertise at Palantir after a progressive operations career at Rackspace, where he supported enterprise OpenStack, automation, autoscaling and acted as an SME on SSL and internal tooling. Now at VAST Data, he combines deep technical know-how with customer-facing skills to translate complex storage and systems problems into deployable solutions. Based in Slough, he brings practical datacenter roots—from hardware replacement to Cisco firewall setups—into strategic conversations about uptime and architecture. Colleagues would describe him as a true “geek through and through” who enjoys diving into low-level failure modes while keeping business impact front of mind.
