Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolAaron Menon is a Senior Software Engineer based in California with 20 years of experience building reliable embedded and cloud systems across aviation, telecom, and consumer electronics. He has repeatedly turned brittle, monolithic codebases and bespoke pipelines into maintainable, reusable architectures—examples include a universal Jenkins/Groovy CI/CD pipeline and a robust gRPC/Redis event abstraction that has run incident-free. His background spans low-level hardware-adjacent work (SerDes tuning, device drivers, PVR playback) to cloud migrations and team leadership, most recently driving an Azure CI/CD migration and leading a team at Infinera before joining Sony Interactive Entertainment. Known for pragmatic refactors and performance-minded fixes (including reducing harmful recursion depth by orders of magnitude), he pairs deep technical craft with stakeholder-facing communication and Agile delivery. He also brings domain-specific expertise in bandwidth-sensitive systems—useful for in-flight entertainment and optical networking—and a quantitative foundation from a BA in Applied Mathematics at UC Berkeley.
