Top SchoolAaron Ralls is a pragmatic software development manager and cloud architect with 20+ years of engineering experience and a decade of leadership delivering secure, cost-saving Azure and multi-cloud migrations at enterprises including Amazon, IBM, Microsoft, and Capital One. He blends hands-on development (developer since 1998) with program-level strategy—having served as a virtual CTO for 100 startups in IBM’s Hyper Protect Accelerator and driven cloud revenue and developer adoption through practical confidential computing and migration playbooks. Known for improving delivery via process shifts (Kanban to Scrum, SAFe adoption) and technical debt controls, he’s repeatedly cut implementation times and operating costs while boosting team velocity and certification throughput. Based in North Bend, WA, he pairs a developer’s curiosity with systems-level thinking, often surfacing overlooked efficiencies in legacy-to-cloud transitions and developer enablement.
