Top SchoolAaron Wolf is a co-founder and organizer of Snowdrift.coop, a nonprofit that pioneers community-based matching pledges to sustainably fund Free/Libre/Open projects, combining grassroots fundraising with systems thinking. Based in Portland, he brings 13+ years of experience blending nonprofit leadership, community engagement, and basic software tools to support open-source and free cultural works. A classically trained musician with a Bachelor of Music and over 15 years teaching guitar and community music courses, he frames pedagogy through cross-cultural perspectives and the psychology of music. His background spans small-business operations, curriculum development for home-school programs, and volunteer coordination, giving him practical chops in management and outreach. Comfortable at the intersection of music, technology, and political/ecological concerns, he leverages interdisciplinary curiosity to design sustainable organizational and funding experiments. Colleagues would note his knack for translating abstract economic and community theories into simple, usable systems that help projects thrive.
