Aaron Zhao
Summary
Aaron Zhao is a senior software engineer based in the Nashville area who builds scalable web applications and leads fraud prevention efforts for a global claims platform serving hundreds of millions of customers. With a decade of hands-on experience across full-stack .NET and modern front-end stacks (Angular, PWAs, service workers), he combines product-focused delivery with operational support for multi-region clients. He has a track record migrating legacy systems, architecting clean back-end services, and enabling offline-capable web apps for hard-to-reach environments. At Asurion he mentors junior developers while driving cross-functional launches, and earlier consulting work shows an ability to translate domain needs into durable technical solutions. He holds an MS in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, suggesting strong formal foundations beneath his pragmatic engineering approach. A less obvious strength: he regularly bridges front-end and backend concerns, from IndexedDB offline strategies to enterprise DB migrations, making him effective on end-to-end initiatives.
