Top SchoolAbbey Sparrow is an experienced software engineer and founder with 15 years building rich front-end visualizations, simulation tools, and production systems for desktop, web, and mobile. As owner of Outsider.Industries and a long-time contributor at startups and companies like Cape Analytics and Skybox/Google, they specialize in turning ambiguous problems into pragmatic, production-ready solutions. Abbey blends engineering depth across UI, API design, and infrastructure with a creative sensibility—credited with a patentable client-side image obfuscator and work on satellite-imagery web tooling. Comfortable in contract and stealth startup roles, they favor projects involving visualization, simulation, and non-obvious technical challenges. Based in Denver, Abbey describes themselves as programmer, artist, and malcontent—bringing a contrarian spark to well-architected software.
