Top SchoolAbdulla Faraz is a Senior Backend Developer with 12 years of experience building high-performance trading infrastructure and DeFi systems, currently architecting event-driven microservices at Coinrule (YC S21). He has rewritten core trading engines in Kotlin and TypeScript, developed backtesting pipelines, and authored Solidity smart contracts with integrations across 0x, Uniswap, Fireblocks and major CEXs. Comfortable across Linux-first stacks, TypeScript and Rust, he combines low-level systems know-how from early telecom and ISP work with modern cloud CI/CD and automated testing practices. His background includes migrating core banking systems and launching the first mobile data and broadband services in his region, reflecting a blend of product sense and operational rigor. Based in Colombo, Sri Lanka, he contributes to open-source tooling and favors pragmatic, performance-oriented solutions that scale under real trading loads. Notably, he pairs protocol-level DeFi work with production-grade custodial and exchange integrations—bridging on-chain innovation and enterprise security.
