Top SchoolAbdullah Mzaien is a Senior Software Engineer based in Riyadh with seven years of experience building thoughtful front-end experiences and scalable web products. He has moved from UI and design roles into engineering, co-founding a startup and driving impactful frontend work at Resal where he migrated codebases to TypeScript, replaced heavy state libraries with React Query and Zustand, and built reusable component systems. Currently at Malaa, he focuses on marrying delightful UX with maintainable architectures, prioritizing accessibility and open-source-friendly practices. Abdullah blends practical product thinking with hands-on implementation, reducing dependencies to improve performance and developer experience. He’s particularly interested in OSS and a11y, and often brings design sensibilities into engineering decisions—a carryover from his early UX and design background.
