Top SchoolAbdullah Sahin is a software engineer with eight years of experience who currently builds scalable solutions at UnitedHealthcare, blending enterprise web development with data-driven engineering. He has hands-on experience modernizing Oracle APEX applications, integrating Java/JavaScript, and supporting CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and JFrog to streamline deployments. His background in computational science and hydrology (MS and PhD-level work) informs a strong analytical approach—he previously designed Monte Carlo environmental models now used by other researchers. Abdullah pairs technical delivery with teaching and mentorship experience from academia, where he improved student outcomes through visualization and one-on-one coaching. Comfortable working across full development cycles in Agile teams, he brings a rare combination of research rigor and practical production delivery to health-care software problems. Colleagues benefit from his habit of documenting systems clearly, making complex applications easier to maintain and evolve.
