Top SchoolAbdullahi Aden is a Director and early-career Java engineer based in San Diego with a decade of leadership experience bridging technical instruction and event operations. A UC Berkeley Computer Science alum, he has taught data structures as an academic intern for CS61B and led Cal Hacks as the first Black director, organizing large-scale hackathons and adapting curricula like an iOS DeCal during the pandemic. He built a Java-based data-processing application that demonstrates practical problem-solving and a knack for turning coursework into production-ready projects. Known for thoughtful mentorship in high-impact academic settings, he pairs hands-on coding ability with event leadership and community-building. Despite an entry-level engineering label, his background shows uncommon organizational scale and instructional depth for his career stage.
