Senior🎓
Top SchoolAbhay Tyagi is a Data Developer based in Melbourne with eight years' experience building and maintaining SQL-driven systems, administering Microsoft SQL Server, and supporting ancillary services like Elasticsearch, Redis, MySQL and AWS. He combines hands-on database engineering—writing complex SQL, stored procedures, imports/exports, and performance tuning—with practical DBA responsibilities such as backups, restore testing, and server provisioning. At AroFlo he has led billing and site-upgrade projects, mentored junior staff, and spun up mirrored SQL Server environments for testing, demonstrating both product-focused development and operational reliability. He has machine learning and data-analysis experience from a university project that won a Kaggle competition, and brings a pragmatic problem-solving approach to customer data interrogation and ad-hoc reporting. Outside work he’s a keen guitarist, a detail that hints at both creativity and discipline in his technical craft.
