Top SchoolAbhijit Suprem is a PhD researcher at Georgia Tech specializing in time-aware machine learning and data analytics, focused on building end-to-end systems that adapt to real-time distribution shifts and concept drift. With nine years of experience spanning academia and industry research internships at IBM and international labs, he engineers scalable analytics pipelines from data collection through deployment and monitoring. His work applies to diverse domains—fake news detection, vehicle re-identification, video analytics, and social sensor event detection—and has produced methods for representation learning, interpretability, and reproducibility that earned publications and best paper awards. Notably, he blends database and systems perspectives (distributed query analytics, materialization strategies) with ML robustness, enabling cloud-native, sharded deployments that maintain performance under adversarial or evolving data streams.
