Senior🎓
Top SchoolAbhimanyu Gupta is a Senior Software Engineer with 12+ years specializing in Data Warehousing, Big Data and Business Intelligence, currently building internet-scale Big Data platform components at Expedia Group from Stony Stratford, UK. He designs and migrates large-scale Hadoop and cloud data pipelines, leads product analytics for A/B testing and experimentation, and has driven migration efforts from on-premise Hadoop to AWS. Abhimanyu combines hands-on engineering with platform consultancy, authoring and contributing to widely used open-source projects (including shunting-yard, circus-train and waggle-dance) that simplify cross-cluster data replication. He has deep experience with Hive, Cascading/MapReduce, and experimentation tooling (Hotels.com HEART), plus a track record of refactoring legacy systems into maintainable, production-ready services. Early-stage startup experience at Unbxd gave him product-facing instincts and exposure to search and NLP, an atypical mix for a platform engineer. With a B.Tech. from IIIT Allahabad, he blends strong academic foundations with practical, production-scale delivery.
