Senior🎓
Top SchoolAbhishek Sehgal is a Senior Software Engineer with nine years of experience building scalable backends, distributed systems, and infrastructure, currently focused on data engineering for Core Services at Uber. He has strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and OO design, and a track record of shipping platform-level tooling—from experimentation pipelines and tracing libraries at ShareChat to migration of bare-metal infrastructure to Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines at Dialpad. His background spans product-facing features (recommendation and fraud detection at Zomato, feed optimization at SHEROES) and deep engineering problems, reflecting a balance of pragmatic product impact and systems design. An early open-source contributor through Google Summer of Code and creator of Inkscape halftone extensions, he brings curiosity-driven engineering and a habit of building reusable developer-facing components. Based in Bengaluru with international experience, he combines hands-on coding with cross-functional collaboration to turn complex requirements into reliable, production-ready systems.
