Top SchoolAdam Austin is a Director of Data Science with nine years of industry experience applying statistical rigor to insurance and identity verification problems, currently leading property class plan modeling at The Hartford. He blends deep applied statistics (M.S. Biostatistics) with hands-on production ML, having built predictive maintenance models for Navistar and production-grade data products at Socure. Comfortable across research and production, he maintains a strong R-centric practice and a background that spans biostatistics, economics, and molecular biology—an unusual mix that helps him translate complex domain science into actionable models. Known for making analyses auditable and production-ready, he favors transparent, reproducible workflows over opaque tooling.
