Top SchoolAdam Goforth is a Staff Software Engineer with 18 years of experience building scalable web and cloud-native systems, currently leading development for Khan Academy’s SAT, LSAT, and Praxis Core products. He brings a full-stack background spanning Go, Python, React, GraphQL and Google Cloud, layered on earlier work with Java/Spring Boot, PHP, and C#/C++ in microservices and client-server contexts. Adam has a track record of shipping customer-facing platforms and internal tools, mentoring teams, and driving projects that serve millions of users. His career includes e-commerce and marketplace UX leadership, medical imaging software, and hands-on DevOps practices—evidence of an engineer comfortable across product, infra, and performance challenges. Based in Ann Arbor, he pairs an MS in Computer Science with practical cross-language fluency and a habit of moving between code, architecture, and execution. A detail not obvious from titles: he’s consistently worked at the intersection of user-facing interfaces and robust back-end systems, making complex testing workflows accessible at scale.
