Adam Goldstone
Lead Software Developer (sabbatical Cover)
United Kingdom
Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolAdam Goldstone is a lead software developer with eight years of experience building web applications across Ruby on Rails, .NET, React, and classic front-end technologies. Currently covering a sabbatical at the UK Ministry of Justice, he progressed there from junior roles to senior and now lead responsibilities, demonstrating strong delivery in public-sector systems. His background includes apprenticeships and junior development posts in housing and education, giving him practical empathy for user-focused, mission-driven software. Adam pairs formal engineering education with hands-on full‑stack training (Free Code Camp and a Level 3 apprenticeship), which informs his pragmatic approach to maintainable code and team upskilling. Comfortable shipping both back-end services and responsive UIs, he is experienced at navigating large organisational contexts and accelerating projects from prototype to production. A detail not immediately obvious: his early governance and student‑union leadership roles suggest he brings governance awareness and stakeholder management to technical delivery.
