Top SchoolAdam Kirk is a pragmatic CTO and cofounder with 14 years of experience shipping customer-focused products from startups to scale-stage teams. He’s a polyglot engineer who has designed and launched full products end-to-end—mobile apps, real-time messaging, and accounting platforms—often building the backend, frontend, and ML pipelines himself. Known for driving efficiency and optimization, he led a 200k‑line codebase serving 30k active users and built a daily-retrained FastText pipeline to categorize hundreds of thousands of transactions. Based in Salt Lake City, he’s repeatedly taken projects from prototype to acquisition (Calvetica, ZipBooks → Divvy) and now leads engineering and strategy at Jump. Adam blends hands-on implementation with systems-level architecture, and enjoys experimenting with new languages and tools to accelerate development.
