👤
SeniorAdam Mcnabb is a Chapter Lead Software Engineering with 12 years of experience building and guiding teams to deliver resilient, cloud-native platforms across finance, aviation, and energy sectors. He blends hands-on engineering—APIs, Kafka, Kubernetes—and practical leadership, routinely contributing code, code reviews, and automated quality gates while coaching developers toward mastery. Adam has led cross-functional delivery of high-impact projects like Air New Zealand’s paperless aircraft solution and Vector’s New Energy Platform, and founded internal forums and guilds to raise performance and technical standards. He champions continuous improvement and measurable quality, introducing mutation and performance testing frameworks and driving migrations from monoliths to microservices and serverless ingestion. Comfortable coordinating with diverse stakeholders from product owners to operations and cyber security, he pairs technical depth with a creative background in digital media that informs pragmatic, user-aware solutions. Based in Auckland, he combines a long-standing passion for coding (starting with QuickBasic on a Tandy) with a focus on fostering collaborative, innovative engineering cultures.
