Summary
🤩
RockstarAdam Tester is a Senior Tech Lead based in London with 11 years of experience building cloud-native, event-driven backend platforms and developer tooling. Currently leading technical direction at Deel, he previously shaped core architecture and integrations at Busuu/Chegg—driving Kafka-based event pipelines, federated GraphQL, Backstage automation, and ephemeral Kubernetes environments. He combines hands-on engineering (microservices, Protobuf, CI/CD) with cross-company collaboration and security-conscious delivery, having helped teams through certifications and multi-region migrations. An operator-founder at heart, he co-built SaaS products earlier in his career and has a knack for turning complex legacy systems into automated developer experiences.
