Top SchoolAditya Rao is a Senior Software Engineer based in Chicago with 11 years of experience building production-scale AI/ML and distributed systems across ad-tech, fintech, blockchain, and SaaS. He combines deep research credentials—10+ peer-reviewed publications and collaborations with Oak Ridge National Lab—with hands-on engineering, having architected vector search infrastructure for 100M records and measurement systems that yielded 83% performance gains. Comfortable from model research (LLMs, RAG, neural nets) to cloud-native deployment (Kafka, Airflow, AWS, Docker), he has delivered direct business impact including $350K+ in measurable value and $3M+ in platform transactions. An entrepreneur and mentor, he founded and scaled a SaaS serving 100+ clients, contributed open-source code accepted by Anthropic, and maintains an active habit of publishing technical posts and projects. Notably, his early research optimized genetic algorithms for networks of over 5M nodes—an uncommon blend of large-scale algorithmic work and pragmatic product delivery.
