Adrian Beck is a mechatronics-focused aerospace engineer and master's student with roughly a decade of hands-on experience in turbomachinery and propulsion test rigs. He designed a highly instrumented rotor casing for a jet-engine compressor test rig and helped bring the rig through to its first test runs, demonstrating strengths in CAD, sensor integration, and experimental assembly. At OHB Digital Connect he pivoted into space propulsion, building the data-acquisition architecture and a prototype thrust measurement system and now pursuing a thesis on its calibration and dynamic behavior. Fluent in both academic research and industry development workflows, he bridges detailed component design with system-level measurement and validation. Having studied across Darmstadt, Tokyo and Rhode Island, he combines international exposure with practical lab-to-field delivery that speeds prototypes into test-ready hardware. An uncommon asset is his track record of carrying projects from CAD and sensor calibration all the way to first-run testing.
