Adrian Leung
Software Engineer at Wealthsimple
Summary
👤
SeniorAdrian Leung is a pragmatic software engineer with 11 years of experience building scalable systems and user-facing features across fintech and SaaS platforms. He has driven measurable impact—redesigning QuickBooks Online flows that generated multi-million dollar revenue gains, cutting signup latency by 80%, and delivering global login infrastructure for millions of users. Equally comfortable with cloud and CI/CD work, Adrian has migrated services to AWS, led API migrations that reduced infrastructure costs, and shipped ML-driven personalization for dashboards. Now at Wealthsimple after roles at Intuit and startups, he brings a systems-first mindset, strong cross-functional leadership, and a habit of exploring new languages and frameworks to solve thorny production problems. Outside of code he’s an avid outdoorsman—hiking, skiing, and bouldering—which he credits for sharpening his focus and resilience under pressure.
