Adrian Loteanu is a Machine Learning Engineer with over a decade of experience specializing in system and hardware performance for compute-intensive workloads. He spent eight years at Intel as a Performance Architect driving product roadmap decisions for datacenter CPUs and led the development of a production tracing and simulation tool that used ML to improve architectural projections. Now at Apple, he focuses on optimizing ML workloads on consumer devices, bridging hardware design and software optimizations to improve user-facing AI. Adrian’s background spans low-level C programming, x86/ARM microarchitecture, DPDK networking, Spark analytics and Linux internals, giving him a rare full-stack view of performance bottlenecks. He holds a master’s in AI and enjoys architecting high-performance solutions from scratch as well as re-architecting systems to unlock extra efficiency. Colleagues describe him as a creative problem-solver who pairs deep technical analysis with clear communication to influence product and engineering decisions.
