Top SchoolAdrian Wydra is a backend Scala engineer based in Krakow with six years of experience building resilient, high-throughput systems using Scala, Java, Kafka, Elasticsearch and Spring. He has shipped production features across fintech, IoT and chat platforms—most recently integrating bots and LLMs into a conversational system and now working at Caesars Sportsbook & Casino. Adrian contributes to and learns from open-source Scala tooling (notably work tied to tapir/sttp during his time at SoftwareMill) and routinely pairs backend services with React front-ends and PostgreSQL. Practical and curious, he brings hands-on experience with Kafka transactions and Elasticsearch rollups while enjoying the challenge of optimizing real-world performance under load.
