Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolAécio Pires is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with 10+ years building and operating large-scale cloud and on-prem infrastructure across Brazil, now driving reliability at iFood. He excels in IaC, Kubernetes, and CI/CD—having cut deployments by up to 80% and reduced cloud and observability costs by ~50% through Terraform, Terragrunt, ArgoCD and Datadog improvements. At Sensedia he managed nearly 150 EKS/GKE clusters and delivered monitoring resilience that survived five consecutive Black Fridays, reflecting strong operational rigor for peak traffic. Comfortable both in deep systems work (Golang CLIs, Vault, networking) and cost/organizational policy on GCP/AWS, he pairs hands-on engineering with documentation and knowledge-sharing to erase technical debt. Based in São Paulo, he’s also pursuing an MBA in Software Engineering with AI, bringing a practical, research-informed mindset to reliability and cloud architecture.
