Top SchoolAeden Jameson is a Staff Engineer in Seattle with 13 years of experience building data-driven, cloud-native products that improve user experience and operational efficiency. He has led end-to-end initiatives—from product ideation and UX to scalable data pipelines and observability—for large media and enterprise platforms, notably designing a near real-time analytics platform for HBO Max that cut EKS costs by roughly $1M/year. Comfortable across backend, frontend and infra, he blends pragmatic architecture with developer experience improvements (including an end-to-end local dev environment and state-chart based observability) to speed iteration and reduce friction. He has repeatedly balanced cost, maintainability and transferability when architecting solutions at Getty Images and elsewhere, and mentors teams in dimensional modeling and pipeline design. His academic pursuit of modern AI/ML certificates and a forthcoming master’s indicates a growing focus on applying ML to engineering problems. Rare among senior engineers, he pairs deep technical craftsmanship with product design sensibility, treating systems as user-facing products.
