Summary
👤
SeniorAfaq Khan is a Senior Software Engineer with a decade of experience building full-stack web applications that turn complex data into intuitive user experiences. He specializes in TypeScript, React, Next.js and Node.js, and has shifted heavy AI outputs (embeddings, semantic search, LLM responses) into usable products at contexxt.ai, reducing decision time for users by 60%. His background spans fast-moving consumer platforms and enterprise tooling—from optimizing heycar’s frontend performance to owning end-to-end document pipelines and dashboards—while maintaining a strong focus on backend scalability with PostgreSQL and MongoDB. Based in Hamburg, he combines hands-on feature delivery with DevOps practices (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD) and a pragmatic interest in developer tooling like GitHub Copilot. Notably, he prefers owning complete user flows from DB schema to React components, bridging the gap between sophisticated AI systems and non-technical users.
