Senior🎓
Top SchoolAfonso Burginski is a Senior Mobile Engineer based in Lisbon with a track record of shipping production iOS and Android apps and end-to-end React Native products across real-time, offline-first and media-heavy domains. He built a subscription VOD streaming platform from scratch (mobile, web, admin and video pipeline) and has delivered enterprise apps featuring real-time collaboration and AI assistants, often integrating native Swift/Kotlin modules and Kotlin Multiplatform. His strengths include performance engineering, clean architecture, and release automation using tools like EAS Build and Fastlane, plus backend integrations with Supabase and Postgres. Equally comfortable in product and ops, he designed an ERP that replaced Excel workflows and boosted operations by up to 80%, and he routinely tunes buffering, caching and virtualized lists for large-scale mobile data. Practical, hands-on, and detail-oriented, he blends low-level native skills with full-stack system thinking to solve complex mobile UX and reliability challenges.
