Rockstar🎓
Top SchoolAfonso Dos Santos Pereira is a data engineer based in Lisbon with six years of experience designing cloud-native data platforms, ETL pipelines, and client-facing solutions across energy, telecoms, and e-commerce. He has driven measurable impact—most notably cutting a critical pipeline’s runtime from 12 hours to 27 minutes—while working with Databricks, Azure, Python/Spark and CI/CD practices. Comfortable leading technical RFPs and guiding teams, he blends hands-on implementation with architecture and operational stewardship. A founder and maker at heart, he runs a homelab and has built startups and tooling (including an LLM-based QA for legal workflows), which keep his infrastructure and experimentation skills sharp. He favors pragmatic simplicity over clever complexity, rapidly adopting new technologies and applying them where they deliver real business value.
