Top SchoolAfonso Pacifer is a Senior Software Engineer and Design System specialist with 11+ years building front-end platforms and Node.js backends for startups and global enterprises. He leads cross-functional teams, defines scalable architectures and design systems that work across frameworks (Web Components, React, Angular, Vue) and emphasizes accessibility, performance and test-driven development. A longtime DevRel advocate, he creates open-source tools, speaks at major Front-End events in Brazil and designs onboarding and contribution flows to accelerate adoption. His work blends practical engineering (SDKs, CI/CD, testing, WPO) with UX-driven thinking and style APIs that improve both developer and end-user experience. Notably, he has shipped framework-agnostic design systems and SDKs for high-scale fintech and banking environments, proving an ability to bridge rapid delivery and enterprise-grade processes. Based in São Paulo, he combines deep front-end craftsmanship with a track record of mentoring teams and cultivating healthy developer communities.
