Top SchoolAgnieszka Szefer is a seasoned machine learning and data engineering leader with 12 years of experience building data-driven products and teams across startups and venture-backed firms. She has a proven track record as a founder—bootstrapping an AI-driven marketplace that reached profitability within a year—and as a hands-on director who led data initiatives at Bain Capital Ventures to systematize sourcing and investing. Comfortable spanning strategy to implementation, she pioneered early adoption of OpenAI APIs at Stitch Fix and built frameworks that made advanced models accessible to product and data teams. Based in San Francisco with an Imperial College MEng, Agnieszka combines technical depth in ML systems with operational rigor from running near‑autonomous platforms and advising R&D-funded ventures. Notably, she blends founder grit with institutional experience, often incubating ideas in community settings like South Park Commons before scaling them.
