Senior🎓
Top SchoolAhmad Bamba is a Device Engineer II with 12 years of hands-on experience building firmware and low-level C/C++ software for embedded Linux and bare-metal IoT devices. He combines a strong academic foundation—BS and MS work at the University of Chicago in computer systems and software engineering—with practical skills in device drivers, ARM/x86 assembly, and performance-sensitive design. Ahmad has bridged research and production: at SUPERGroup he designed a notification system to promote fairer ML models and owned front-end, back-end, and data evaluation pipelines, while at Alarm.com he now focuses on robust embedded C++ for security devices. Comfortable working under constrained resources, he also brings systems thinking from projects like automated OCR parsing of massive voter rolls and robotics mentorship, revealing a knack for turning complex, real-world constraints into reliable engineering solutions.
