Senior🎓
Top SchoolAhmed Abumostafa is an engineering manager based in Germany with 10+ years of experience building and scaling product-focused teams across e-commerce, edtech, and startups. He blends hands-on technical leadership with an entrepreneurial mindset, having co-founded a B2B2C automotive startup that onboarded 5,000+ cars and ran 500+ live auctions in its first year. Ahmed has a track record of accelerating delivery—introducing monorepos and unified UIs to cut development cycles by 30% and boost productivity by 50%—while growing teams rapidly through efficient hiring processes. He moves fluidly between product, design, and engineering to align teams with business outcomes and improve existing products by measurable margins. Comfortable in both startup and enterprise settings, he now leads engineering at Kaufland e-commerce after recent roles scaling teams at 1GLOBAL and technical leadership at Mytheresa and Chegg. His Github interest in blockchain hints at a curiosity for decentralized systems beyond his core e-commerce and platform experience.
