Top SchoolAhmed Kamal is a Senior Incident Response Analyst with 12 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity and a strong programming and systems background. Based in Egypt, he has progressed through multiple roles at Trend Micro—from trainee and malware analyst to his current senior incident response position—leading investigations, network/system forensics, and root-cause analysis for complex infections. He combines deep threat research and malware hunting with practical remediation playbooks, incident reporting, and custom detection signature development. Prior work as a Linux kernel developer and system programmer gave him low-level networking and OS internals expertise that informs his forensic and detection strategies. Colleagues rely on him for rapid containment decisions and evidence-driven technical reports that bridge engineering and executive stakeholders. He brings a pragmatic, research-led approach to incident response and a track record of turning obscure malwares into actionable detections.
