Lead Software Engineer at Yassir
Cairo, Cairo, Egypt
Summary
👤
SeniorAhmed Menaim is a Lead iOS Engineer with over eight years of hands-on experience building and stabilizing mobile apps across MENA, Africa, Europe and the US, frequently working remotely. He specializes in clean architecture, SOLID design, UIKit/SwiftUI and CI/CD orchestration (Fastlane, Bitrise), and has led squads integrating multiple apps into large-scale super apps and last-mile delivery platforms. Ahmed has improved performance and reliability at scale—e.g., cutting GIF rendering times dramatically and resolving hundreds of production bugs—while owning incident investigations and technical debt roadmaps. He also mentors and hires engineers, runs onboarding processes, and creates educational content (Menaim Academy) that amplifies his technical teaching background. Less obvious: he pairs deep engineering craft with practical product thinking, routinely balancing feature delivery with maintainability and operational excellence.
