Summary
👤
Senior🎓
Top SchoolAidan Armstrong is a Perth-based software engineer with eight years of hands-on experience building mobile-first and full-stack applications, specializing in React Native/React and comfortable across PHP (Symfony, Laravel), Node.js, Firebase and AWS. He blends product-minded engineering with a founder’s mentality—co-founding YouCrew and launching Prestart Pro while shipping consumer apps like FIFO Clock on iOS and Android. Comfortable switching between design (Figma) and implementation, Aidan routinely prototypes user-focused apps he’d want to use himself, which keeps his work pragmatic and user-centric. His background includes senior mobile roles at Lotterywest and broad international experience from UK full-stack roles, giving him both enterprise and startup chops. Always learning and experimenting, he pairs adventurous curiosity (from travel to fitness) with disciplined delivery to move ideas from concept to production.
