Top SchoolAkash R is a pragmatic software engineer with 9 years of experience building cloud-native systems, currently working as an SDE-2 on Global Cloud Services at ServiceNow. He’s explored a wide technical surface—data plane and control plane work, network security and IPSec, ML and LLM experiments, and web and data-science projects—primarily coding in C, Go, and Python. His recent focus is on Kubernetes internals, where he combines hands-on tinkering with production-grade engineering. Prior roles at Sandvine and Versa gave him deep exposure to networking, SASE and VOS, translating protocol-level understanding into resilient services. Known for learning by doing, he intentionally rotates domains to find durable expertise while shipping reliable systems from low-level networking up to platform orchestration. Based in Mysuru, India, he pairs curiosity-driven exploration with a track record of delivering across diverse stacks.
