Top SchoolAkira Takahashi is a Senior Research Scientist with 11 years of experience at the intersection of cryptography, security, and applied AI, currently leading research efforts in J.P. Morgan’s AI Research & AlgoCRYPT Center of Excellence. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from Aarhus University and has postdoc experience funded by Protocol Labs, bringing deep academic rigor to practical problems like post-quantum verifiable encryption and zero-knowledge proofs from internships at Microsoft and NTT. His background spans both theory and engineering—authoring cryptographic research while building production components in Python, C++, Rails, and cloud platforms during earlier industry roles. Comfortable translating advanced cryptographic primitives into deployable systems, he also has teaching and supervision experience in distributed systems and protocol theory. Though active in crypto research, his GitHub presence is succinctly focused on "crypto," reflecting a preference for concentrated, high-impact contributions rather than broad public-facing open-source activity.
