Top SchoolAkshama is a Senior Software Engineer based in New York with a strong hybrid background in network security, automation, and machine learning, holding an MS in Computer Science from NYU Courant. With nine years of industry experience spanning Cisco, Visa, and Intuit, she has led large-scale firewall and cloud security projects, driven automation that enabled zero-downtime upgrades and patented policy-generation work, and delivered production-ready tooling that substantially improved performance and efficiency. She pairs hands-on systems engineering—writing performant Python solutions and conducting rigorous testing with tools like Valgrind and Checkmarx—with academic rigor, having published research on CNNs for healthcare.
