Top SchoolAl Murray is a seasoned back-end developer with 11 years of experience building server-side systems for gaming, esports, and automation platforms from Philadelphia. He blends hands-on engineering and technical leadership—serving as Software Engineer/acting IT Director at Sector X while consulting on league and tournament management for Cyber Tech Mob and other esports startups. His background includes game-platform compliance (Steam, PSN, XBL, NSO), custom home/commercial automation integrations, and full-stack infrastructure work from servers and VLANs to mobile-responsive design. A dedicated youth mentor and program director, he repeatedly applies engineering to social impact projects that teach STEM and competitive skills to young people. Outside of day-to-day development he produces and coaches world-class esports teams, bringing product-minded systems thinking to live events and media production. Motivated by practical problem solving and community building, he pairs deep technical breadth with an unusual mix of production, coaching, and field-install experience.
