Top SchoolAlagiavanan Saravanan is a Senior Software Engineer with 10 years’ experience building high-availability, scalable systems using Java and Python across Spring Boot, Hibernate, and major databases including SAP HANA. He has driven measurable impact at SAP Ariba—co-founding a Supplier Management app that tripled adoption, leading a SWIFT team that cut incidents by two-thirds, and delivering a ClamAV-integrated security library that met FEDRAMP and FIPS 140-2 requirements while handling 10GB scans. Comfortable across cloud platforms (GCP, Azure) and performance tuning, he has a track record of reducing server load by 40%, improving query performance 30%, and cutting deployment-critical events by 80%. Now based in the NYC area and currently at TD Securities, he blends hands-on engineering with cross-team leadership and a knack for turning legacy integrations and tech debt into reliable, production-ready services. An MS in Computer and Information Sciences from UPenn underpins his pragmatic approach to complex system design and operational resiliency.
