Top SchoolAlan C is a Senior Engine Programmer with 11 years of practical experience building high-performance, data-oriented systems for networking and real-time applications. He specializes in efficient, maintainable code with a preference for algorithmic thinking, declarative styles, and functional techniques where they yield clarity and performance. His recent roles have focused on scalable multiplayer and networking infrastructure—shipping core technology at Ringtail and now enabling seamless deployment of high-performance online experiences at Brink Labs. Alan’s background spans game engines, real-time rendering, embedded Linux, and automation, giving him a rare cross-domain perspective on low-latency systems and tooling. He mentors engineers and favors pragmatic designs that avoid over-abstraction, often choosing simplicity and measurable performance over theoretical elegance. Based in Sweden, he pairs hands-on implementation skill with a strong emphasis on data-oriented design and practical scalability.
