Top SchoolAlan Christie is an award-winning Solution Architect and software engineer with a hardware background and over 35 years of experience delivering resilient, high-performance systems across broadcast, commercial, research and military domains. He blends low-level, bare-metal expertise in DSP, embedded systems and assembler with modern cloud-native practices—CI/CD, containerisation, Kubernetes and infrastructure-as-code—bringing rare full-stack depth from silicon to SaaS. Known for architecting real-time, big-data correlation engines and automation frameworks that saved customers millions, he champions pragmatic, test-driven development and “beautiful code” backed by rigorous profiling, coverage and orchestration. Comfortable leading teams, coaching engineers and liaising with clients, he repeatedly turns complex algorithmic ideas into robust production products. A tinkerer at heart, he has a long history of inventing optimised signal-processing implementations and automated test tools alongside delivering enterprise-grade deployments.
